Network-Attached Storage (NAS) Devices

Engineering work creates a great deal of data, and reearch groups are encouraged to keep copies of data produced from a project. CTS provides 10TB+ of storage space to each research group on researchfiles.coe.drexel.edu

Network Access Policies for NAS

If a group still has a need for storage needs outside of what CTS can provide or requires more than 1 Gbps access, then purchasing and maintaining a network-attached storage (NAS) device is a potential solution. Please consult with us regarding the requirements for the device before purchasing.

All NAS devices should be hosted on Drexel's private IP space and should not be accessible via the internet. Off-campus access can be achieved via Drexel's VPN service.
